Extraction Tools

Extraction tools scan unstructured text — a pasted log, an email thread, a scraped page, a PDF copy-paste — and pull out just the values you need. Each tool returns a de-duplicated, sortable list you can copy or download as a plain text or CSV file. Everything is matched locally in your browser.

Extraction Tools: frequently asked questions

Is the text I paste stored or scanned by anyone?
No. Extraction runs as a regular-expression pass inside your browser. The text never reaches a server, which matters because pasted logs and email threads often contain personal data.
Are duplicate results removed?
Yes by default, and every extraction tool has a toggle so you can keep duplicates when you need the raw count rather than the unique set.
Will an extractor find every match?
Extractors use pattern matching, not semantic understanding, so unusual formats can be missed and false positives are possible. Each tool page lists the specific formats it recognises and its known limitations.
